So far, we’ve already coated the Marvel and Harry Potter calendars from Funko. But now we’ve moved onto LEGO’s ever-popular calendars, and it actually turned a joint effort from the entire crew. I made the resolution to open the LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar (earlier than the Harry Potter one) and it was not my best option. I’m not an enormous Star Wars fan, so I needed to defer to Tercius to determine what 90% of the items had been. I will say, for many of the objects I opened, he stated “oooh” earlier than explaining what the hell I was taking a look at.

Anyway! Let’s dive in.

December 1: Imperial Speeder

Photo: Tercius Bufete

I didn’t understand the directions to place stuff collectively had been on the tab of every door till after doing this one.

December 2: Kylo Ren’s TIE Silencer Ship

Photo: Tercius Bufete

Bad man ship for #2? Fun.

December 3: First Order Stormtrooper

Photo: Tercius Bufete

I knew what this man was! But I had no thought he was a First Order dude, Tercius needed to make clear.

December 4: Anti Air Rifle

Photo: Tercius Bufete

Lots of weapons on this calendar.

December 5: Poe’s X Wing

Photo: Tercius Bufete

This one is longer than it seems to be in the picture. We needed to break it into two items to get it again in the calendar.

December 6: Resistance Bomber

Photo: Tercius Bufete

We had been truthfully on the fence about this one, if anybody thinks we’re improper, I promise I gained’t inform you to “suck an egg” if you happen to right me in the feedback.

December 7: Chewbacca (Eating a Porg??)

Photo: Tercius Bufete

Another character I know!

December 8: Ahch-To Island

Photo: Tercius Bufete

This was the first (of a number of) days I opened that made it apparent some issues wouldn’t actually make sense to play with on their very own.

December 9: Luke Skywalker

Photo: Tercius Bufete

Tercius thinks Luke seems to be like Dog the Bounty Hunter. I actually preferred his large fish.

December 10: Jakku Shuttle

Photo: Tercius Bufete

Out of all the issues on this checklist, this was someway considered one of the tougher ones to place collectively.

December 11: Turret

Photo: Tercius Bufete

Same sentiment as #8.

December 12: Death Star Gunner

Photo: Tercius Bufete

He really has a complete head and face beneath that helmet.

December 13: Star Destroyer Repair Droid

Photo: Tercius Bufete

I requested Tercius if this was a canine. It’s a droid. I stopped guessing after opening this.

December 14: Trader Federation Tank

Photo: Tercius Bufete

It seems to be like a snail.

December 15: Trade Federation Droid

Photo: Tercius Bufete

This comes with two units of arms, in case you want barely bent or totally straight arms?

December 16: Trade Federation Troop Transport

Photo: Tercius Bufete

Merry Christmas?

December 17: Rocket

Photo: Tercius Bufete

Putting the 4 cylinders on this can be a ache in the ass.

December 18: Rebel

Photo: Tercius Bufete

Looks form of blissful for a insurgent?

December 19: Mynock

Photo: Tercius Bufete

I needed to outsource the query of WTF that is to my brother-in-law. He knew straight away, so, kudos to him!

December 20: Hoth Echo Base

Photo: Tercius Bufete

Tercius needed to seek the advice of with our beloved Kinja Deals researcher, Corey Foster, on this one. Some deep cuts right here.

December 21: Cloud City Car

Photo: Tercius Bufete

I didn’t understand what number of planes or ships or no matter had been in Star Wars till I opened this whole set.

December 22: Cloud Car Pilot

Photo: Tercius Bufete

I love when two issues that go collectively are opened back-t0-back.

December 23: Robot Present

Photo: Tercius Bufete

Is this canon?

And, on the 24th day of Christmas, you get… a LUMP OF COAL, for trying early!

Just kidding.

December 24: Santa Porg

Photo: Ana Luisa Suarez

I discover this very cute, unsure what Star Wars followers will suppose on the 24th day of opening, although.

I wouldn’t advise opening all 24 days without delay. It may be very tiring placing all the tiny LEGO items collectively. Though, some days, you’ll open objects and possibly really feel like “that’s it?” But, I think about that’s the way you’ll really feel with any Advent calendar that isn’t purely chocolate. We preferred that Luke Skywalker got here with two faces. Tercius stated that Chewbacca is consuming a Porg, however Chelsea and I respectfully refused to imagine that.
