Tommy Hilfiger Corp. has tapped Michael Scheiner as the brand new chief advertising officer of Tommy Hilfiger Global. The appointment is efficient Oct. 28.
Most lately, Scheiner was with Hollister Co., the place he was senior vp, world advertising. Earlier, he served as vp, advertising, digital and communications for Abercrombie & Fitch, Abercrombie Kids and Hollister. He has been with the Abercrombie & Fitch group for nearly 9 years.
His work at Hollister helped transfer the model into the highest 5 manufacturers amongst teenagers in Piper Jaffray’s fall 2019 Taking Stock survey, and supported Hollister’s recognition as a high omnichannel retailer.
Scheiner, who will relocate along with his household to Hilfiger’s world headquarters in Amsterdam, will lead that model throughout digital and experiential platforms to succeed in and have interaction with the subsequent technology of shoppers. The position of chief advertising officer hasn’t existed for a number of years.
Avery Baker had been chief model officer, and stepped down from the corporate in June. Her duties encompassed greater than advertising and communications.
Scheiner is taking up the advertising and communications duties of Baker’s former position.
