In the midst of a two-game shedding streak, the Rams could be with out a pivotal piece in a vital divisional recreation this weekend.
Running again Todd Gurley missed practice Wednesday because of a left thigh contusion, the crew introduced. He is listed as day-to-day.

“It kind of caught us all off guard,” coach Sean McVay stated, by way of ESPN. “He’s so tough and he plays through so many different things.”
Gurley suffered the injury within the Rams’ 30-29 loss to the Seahawks in Week 5 the place he rushed for 51 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries.
McVay stated it is “hard to say” if Gurley can be prepared for Sunday’s recreation in opposition to the 49ers.
“He’d be better in tune to say exactly how he feels,” McVay stated. “But there’s still so much time and guys turn over, different things like that. So even though we did play on a Thursday, we want to be smart with him and I think he’s earned the right to, ‘Let’s get through this week, then let’s see and then we’ll be able to make a better decision.’ “
If Gurley is unable to play, count on Malcolm Brown and rookie Darrell Henderson to hold the load at operating again for LA.
Five video games into the season, Gurley has rushed for 270 yards and 5 touchdowns on 64 carries.
The Rams (3-2) host the 49ers (4-0) on Sunday at 4:05 p.m. ET.
