A lady was allegedly gangraped and thrashed whereas her husband was overwhelmed up by a gaggle of 5 males close to Thanagazi in Rajasthan’s Alwar district. The sufferer has stated that the accused dragged her from her neck, tore off her garments and took turns to rape her.
“They dragged me from my neck, tortured us and tore off our garments earlier than raping me. They need to be hanged,” she stated.
As per the FIR registered by the sufferer in Gaji police station on April 30, the incident passed off on April 26 round three pm when the sufferer, was going to Talvriksha from her village, Lalwadi, accompanied by her husband on a motorbike.
The FIR states: “The sufferer’s car was stopped by a gaggle of 5 males travelling on two bikes. The sufferer’s husband was overwhelmed up by two individuals whereas the remaining three gangraped her.”
Husband of the Alwar gangrape sufferer has stated that the 5 accused dragged the couple to an remoted place and beat them up brutally. He stated, “Then they tore off my spouse’s garments and raped her. Considered one of them acted as he was their chief and raped her twice,” he stated.
Additionally they made a video recording of the incident and threatened the victims they might kill them in the event that they complain to the police, the FIR stated.
The couple additionally stated that the accused stored threatening them and even demanded cash.
“Even after I was at SHO or at SP workplace, I stored getting calls from the accused. They stored threatening us. I advised the SP that they have been threatening us on cellphone and SP assured us that they are going to act towards them,” husband of the rape sufferer stated.
The sufferer’s husband stated that he had met the Alwar SP on April 30 and never on Might 2, as police had claimed earlier.
“I used to be scared about our honour, so, I prevented going to the police. I met the SP on April 30. On his order, the police acted the following day however FIR was lodged on Might 2. Again then, they stated they have been busy with polls and can act after elections,” he stated.
The SHO allegedly advised the sufferer that he solely had three personnel within the police station and the remaining have been on election obligation.
In the meantime, yet another accused has reportedly been arrested within the case.
