A 90-year-old man has been arrested and charged with the homicide of his 83-year outdated spouse after investigators mentioned he admitted he shot her Saturday morning in South Carolina.
Deputies responded to a house in Ridgeville at 5:20 a.m. after dispatch obtained a name from a person who mentioned he shot his spouse, officers say. A potential motive was unclear.
The deputies took Edwin Nelson, Jr., into custody in reference to the homicide of Sarah M. Nelson, WCSC reported.
