Slowthai Holds Up Fake Severed Head of UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson During Mercury Prize Performance

The Mercury Prize award ceremony occurred in London on Thursday night time (Sept. 19), and rapper Slowthai made fairly the political assertion throughout his efficiency.

Nominated for his album, Nothing Nice About Britain, he held up a a pretend severed head of U.K. prime minister Boris Johnson, shouting “F— Boris,” and, fittingly, “there’s nothing great about Britain.”
