Setting an instance, the Central Industrial Safety Pressure (CISF) personnel on Wednesday returned a bag, containing Rs 1 lakh, that was left behind within the Delhi Metro to its proprietor.
Assistant Inspector Common Hemendra Singh, spokesman for the CISF, advised IANS, Praveen Jha (30), a resident of Dwarka, had forgotten the bag within the Delhi Metro.
The unattended suspicious bag was discovered at Shivaji Stadium Metro station by the CISF personnel. When it was opened after due safety protocol, it was discovered to be containing Rs 1 lakh in money, Singh stated.
The CISF personnel began scanning the CCTV digital camera footage to find the rightful proprietor of the bag. They discovered the one that had misplaced it within the Metro, and returned that to him, the spokesman stated.
After receiving the bag, Jha thanked the CISF personnel and stated, “Honesty is still alive.”
