Rep. Adam Schiff, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and the leftists who are attacking President Trump – and by extension everybody who voted for and helps him – have managed to sink to a new low. On the size of credibility, they are a minus-10. If they yelled hearth, you’d keep seated.
These Democrats are so relentlessly unfair that the Trump administration has completely no incentive to cooperate with them.
Schiff, D-Calif., is holding his impeachment witch hunt behind closed doorways. He has dissembled about whether or not he or his workers met with the whistleblower leaker earlier than an official criticism was filed. He shouldn’t be following the principles of the House. He has excluded some members of the House from sitting in on the proceedings, and he now has stated that the whistleblower is not going to be known as to testify.
135 HOUSE REPUBLICANS CO-SPONSOR RESOLUTION TO CENSURE SCHIFF OVER ‘PARODY’ READING OF TRUMP-ZELENSKY CALL
Schiff excuses his misconduct, claiming Republicans will try to govern the narrative if his impeachment inquiry hearings had been public.
That’s lame and disingenuous. If the hearings are public, the entire world can watch and decide what and whom they consider. Everyone can assemble a narrative to steer the general public in one course or one other, however these watching an open listening to can determine what they consider to be the reality.
Schiff’s secrecy permits him to conjure up the story he needs to inform the media with little accountability. Isn’t that the extra possible motive Schiff doesn’t need the general public to know what’s occurring in the hearings?
Further, by classifying data in the hearings, we are going to solely hear what was stated as conveyed by leakers. That is antithetical to the American system of due course of.
Nothing Schiff says or does ought to shock anybody. He instructed us for years that there was clear proof of collusion between Trump and the Russians. And when even the anti-Trump staff of Special Counsel Robert Mueller concluded no collusion, no cooperation, and no coordination between Trump or his marketing campaign and Russia, Schiff nonetheless insisted that there was proof of collusion.
In what universe does anybody assume Schiff may be an trustworthy and true arbiter? Only down the rabbit gap and into the world of a Democratic dreamland. In that upside-down world, an obsession to question President Trump turns a reckless sequence of hearings that function exterior House precedents and commonplace House guidelines into a “formal impeachment inquiry” on the easy declaration of Speaker Pelosi.
In this shifting fantasyland, Schiff needs us to consider that information are no matter he says they are. He needs us to consider that transparency requires closed-door interviews of witnesses. And key witnesses (such because the whistleblower-leaker) don’t testify as a result of Schiff doesn’t assume it’s mandatory.

If the Democrats have any sense of disgrace, they may maintain a formal vote on whether or not to pursue an impeachment investigation. They will take away the dissembling Schiff from main this impeachment rip-off. And they may observe the sample of the House by permitting Republicans to take part by subpoenaing witnesses and cross-examining Schiff’s witnesses.
Attorneys representing President Trump must also be allowed to ask questions and introduce proof. And there needs to be open and clear hearings.

For now, although, Democrats are blissful sufficient to cover what they are doing. And the leftists in the media are equally blissful to affix in the assault on President Trump.
