The teaser of Mysskin’s Psycho is out. And it is positively not for the faint-hearted. Udhyanidhi Stalin, Nithya Menen and Aditi Rao Hydari are the principle actors of the film. The teaser begins with a shot of a dimly lit street and a automobile stops instantly. It seems to be like a traditional slasher film. We can perceive why they’ve given it an ‘A’ certificates. From the shot of a bare man to that of a girl who has been butchered and the way, the scenes are gory and disturbing. It seems to be like a thrilling serial killer flick from the phrase go. Nithya Menen and Aditi Rao Hydari pack a punch because the distressed girl and the latter is notably efficient. The BGM is kickass whereas PC Sreeram’s cinematography builds on that stress and dread.
It appears the story is based mostly on the story of Angulimala. We know that he is a troubled brigand who transforms into a saint after he meets Gautama Buddha. Mysskin stated in an interview, “Psycho belongs to the slasher genre. It is a psycho thriller and has an emotional angle of course, but the film has got a big load of sequences that will frighten you. Sometimes you will take your eyes off the screen because you may not be able to watch what’s happening.”
In the film, Udhayanidhi Stalin performs the position of a visually challenged man whereas a newcomer is the disturbed serial killer. Mysskin has confirmed that it is based mostly on the story of Angulimala. Music maestro Ilaayaraja has composed three songs for the film. The teaser certainly seems to be gripping.
