LONDON — Philippe Warnery has exited the Estée Lauder Cos. Inc. simply months after being promoted to president of the U.K. and Ireland, the corporate’s third-largest market.
Warnery had been senior vp and common supervisor of the area since 2017, and continued to report back to Cedric Prouvé, group president of worldwide, in his new function.
He had been with Lauder for 13 years and most lately was credited with serving to the corporate place itself to resist the fallout from the geopolitical and financial volatility on account of Brexit, together with establishing new retailer relationships and fueling the expansion of the web enterprise.

On Wednesday, a spokesperson for Lauder confirmed that Warnery was now not with the corporate and mentioned his successor can be named sooner or later.
The firm declined to touch upon a report in British tabloid The Sun, saying that Warnery resigned on account of inappropriate habits within the office.
