A Los Angeles police officer died Sunday throughout a surgical procedure stemming from an on-duty site visitors collision — that occurred 4 years prior, officers stated.
Officer Esmerelda Ramirez, 49, died following problems from the surgical procedure associated to the 2015 collision, based on the Los Angeles Police Division.

Chief Michel Moore tweeted that the LInternetD was “mourning the loss of one of our own,” and stated she served Los Angeles “with honor, integrity, and pride.”

Ramirez, who leaves behind three grownup kids, was the two,010th LInternetD officer to die within the line of obligation, based on officers.
