Joe Reinartz and Linda Moody to Join North American Concert Promoters Association 1

The North American Concert Promoters Association has introduced Joe Reinartz and Linda Moody can be becoming a member of NACPA, efficient Dec. 1. Reinartz will take over the position of government director with the retirement of longtime NACPA executives Cynthia Wallace and Ben Liss.

Both Wallace and Liss will retire in 2020 after aiding with the brand new transition in management. Moody, who has labored with Reinhartz for a few years, will take over government assistant.

“There will be an extended period of transition as there is a great deal for Joe and Linda to learn about NACPA – our systems, procedures and long history,” Liss and Wallace wrote to the NACPA members. “We will remain with NACPA ….through this summer. During the coming months, we will work closely with Joe and Linda to coordinate a smooth transition in their assumption of our responsibilities.”

Reinartz’s background is in music enterprise journalism, having run the information division at Pollstar and has adopted NACPA’s operations because the mid-’90s. He labored with NACPA on its Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Oral History undertaking, interviewing William Morris agent Dick Alen for the corridor’s archives and lately reported for Celebrity Access.

“We have known Joe for many years – as have a number of NACPA members – and have found him to be honorable, sensible and now excited about the new challenges he will have leading NACPA. Liss and Wallace pressured that the transition can be gradual as Reinartz and Moody acclimate to their new roles. Moody has labored with Reinartz for a decade and each can be based mostly out of Fresno, California.
