It was solely a matter of time earlier than Facebook’s cloning machine was spun into motion to counter the rising risk from viral video app TikTok.

It appears that Facebook-owned Instagram is seeking to copy a few of TikTok’s options, with its engineers constructing a new in-app video editing tool that lets customers add AR results and background music to clips, regulate their pace, and even “remix” others’ movies — a characteristic that’s similar to TikTok’s “duet” performance. The tool is reportedly referred to as “Scenes.”
