Bertrand Russell, John Nash and the electoral bonds

Thanks to some wonderful investigative work by Nitin Sethi of HuffPost, there was a completely justified hullabaloo over the method electoral bonds have labored and, maybe extra importantly, been made to work. These bonds permit nameless donations to political events. It seems that the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) had in no way been in favour of them as a result of it felt they might formally and legally funnel black cash into politics.

Others, like the Election Commission, had additionally voiced their doubts. All these doubts and issues had been legitimate. But the authorities went forward anyway …
