Ayushmann Khurrana has again and again proved that he’s one of the most bankable stars in the film enterprise at present. The National Award-winning actor was final seen in Dream Girl which made a lot of noise at the box-office and is now gearing up for the launch of his subsequent – Bala. While we’ve principally seen him in slice-of-life movies, followers could quickly get to see him play a unfavourable character. In a latest interview, Khurrana stated that he would love to play a desi version of the Joker and is keen to present the viewers the darkish facet to him.
He stated, “The audience hasn’t seen the dark side to me. I would love to play a negative character, say a desi version of the Joker. I find the character fascinating. He represents the side that we all have but don’t acknowledge; the part that doesn’t want to conform to social niceties. To make an Indian version of Joker, you need the support of a scriptwriter and a director [who] share the same vision.”
Despite being tremendous busy together with his hectic work schedule, Ayushmann not too way back stated that he needs to publish a guide of Hindi poems. When requested about its progress, the actor advised, “I wrote [a couplet] when I won the National Award. But more than anything else, I [like to write] about the varied aspects of love, the small joys of life, or even the situation the country is facing. I am not that self-obsessed to only write about myself. But I need the mind space to write more poetry and then publish a book. It is on my bucket list and will happen.”
Hearing this from him, we’re completely trying ahead to seeing him play a unfavourable character in the movie.
