Nobody likes to be left on learn. A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie groups with Lil Uzi Vert to precise their eager for a deep reference to their lovers on “Reply,” which hit streaming companies Friday (Nov. 15). The somber monitor serves as the second single from Boogie’s forthcoming Artist 2.0 album.
“If I write you, girl, will you reply?/ Follow my commands, come on, girl, comply/ You only want me ’cause my life’s televised/ And I can see all them lies in your eyes,” Uzi intones on the opening refrain.
The Bronx native then continues the theme by closing out the monitor with a sultry verse of his personal. “I’m gon’ f— you to this, make this one your favorite song/ And you even look sexy with no makeup on/ And you ain’t gotta ask me, girl, just take it off/ I knew that you was nasty the way you take it raw/ I just hope that you don’t think I’m crazy, girl,” Boogie raps.
Earlier in November, the “Drowning” artist teased that his upcoming mission may very well be his final for some time, as he has different issues in life he’d like to overcome. “I want to take a break from music after Artist 2.0 tour is over,” he wrote on IG. “There’s a lot of things I wanna do in life and it’s moving too fast for me to focus on everything at once.”
